"Bloody" Wet Wipes

Recently, a news story has caught people's attention, showing pictures of wet wipes seemingly covered in blood. What's the deal with these "bloody" wet wipes? They seem to be soaked in blood! What could be the reason for this?

These are not blood but are caused by metal impurities in the wet wipes. It is well known that to have a better wiping function and meet the requirements of users, wet wipes will contain functional liquids, and when there are iron impurities in the wet wipes, it is very easy to corrode and dissolve, resulting in rust marks on the wet wipes like old bloodstains.

So where do these metal impurities come from? Usually, a complete wet wipe production line（wet wipes machines) is equipped with a metal detector to prevent the presence of metal objects in the wet wipes. So, must the final product wet wipes not have metal impurities when the wet wipe production line is equipped with a metal detector? The answer is no.

Wet Wipes Metal detectors (wet wipes machine) are not omnipotent. Under the condition that the metal detector functions normally, sometimes if the metal impurity is too small, it may not be detected.

So, how do we solve this problem?

First of all, let's analyze the two main sources of metal impurities in wet wipes.

First, when the non-woven fabric manufacturer cuts the non-woven fabric roll, small iron filings from the cutting knife may fall into the fabric. Similarly, during the cutting of the non-woven fabric roll by the non-woven fabric manufacturer, small iron impurities may also fall into the fabric.

Second, during the processing and production of wet wipes on the wet wipe production line  (wet wipes machine) , small iron filings from the rotary cutting knife may fall into the fabric.

In summary, wet wipe manufacturers must establish a strict production management system and maintain the wet wipes machine regularly. A wet wipe machine that lacks professional and systematic maintenance is prone to problems. At the same time, it is also essential to choose non-woven fabric suppliers with strict management systems.
